“The Great Escape” Limited Edition Collaboration Print by Kenji Chai x Azmi Hussin

Beloved Malaysian artists Kenji Chai and Azmi Hussin join forces in our latest limited print edition—“The Great Escape.”

No stranger to the art scene, Kenji Chai’s alter ego “Chaigo,” an homage to the resilient spirit of stray dogs, has collected an almost cult-like following for his inspiring personal message and ubiquitous public art. After his wildly popular, sold-out edition of ‘Chaigo Slide’ print, Kenji Chai is back at Cultprint with another iconic collaboration. This time, Kenji joins creative powers with Malaysian cartoonist and caricature artist Azmi Hussin.

This marks Azmi Hussin’s debut with Cultprint, following his extremely successful solo exhibition “Cari” at Hin Bus Depot. The Penang-based artist narrates his journey through life in his cartoon-style drawings, depicting the day-to-day uniqueness of being Malaysian and exploring themes of identity and belonging.

The image, based on their recent mural in George Town, Penang, is nothing short of inspiring. The fusion of the artist’s distinct styles and unique backgrounds makes this image a unique exploration of creativity, dedication to craft, and contagious rebellion.
