About the Artist
TAZONE is a graffiti writer and visual artist based in George Town, known for his eye-catching pieces painted all over town. Utilizing aerosol spraypaint, acrylics and found objects, he wants to connect art and humanity through intriguing forms and hues hoping to stir emotions within audiences. Debuting his solo show, TAZONE aims to bring graffiti from the streets into a gallery space to blur the lines between what is vandalism and what is art.
About ZACH Studio
ZACH Studio is a new hub for contemporary art in George Town, Penang. Nestled in the heart of the historic city, it serves as both studio space for artist Ernest Zacharevic, a gallery and the headquarters of printmaking collective Cultprint.
The space aims to have residency programs, gather a community of creatives for ideas exchange and have a line up of events and exhibitions for the public.
